Acceptance doesn’t mean giving up. Instead, it  means letting go of your anger, fear or guilt, so you can find more peace in the present moment. 

Forgiveness to yourself, other or God can be enhanced by using either awareness, affirmations or assertiveness.  However, when you use each of them (awareness, affirmations and assertiveness)  forgiveness increases, along with love and satisfaction.

Acceptance may include thoughts such as:  “What you want is OK.”
